Hi! My name is “Cornbread” (it’s a river story and I’ll tell you about it when I see you on the river). I grew up in Hailey, Idaho, and I spend my winters in Sun Valley and my summers in Stanley. I started guiding Idaho rivers in 2019, drawn to the thrill of whitewater and the peace of the mountains. I live for the moments when the river teaches, challenges, and inspires. There’s nothing better than guiding people through rapids, watching their fears turn into pure exhilaration, and seeing firsthand how the river changes lives — just like it changed mine. Every trip is a new adventure, a chance to connect with people, push limits, and soak in the beauty of the wild. The river isn’t just a job — it’s a way of life, a constant reminder to go with the flow, embrace the unpredictable, and find joy in every wave.
