HUDSON BERTRAM

Hi everyone! My name is Hudson, and I was born and raised in the beautiful town of Salmon, Idaho. Growing up, I participated in everything outdoors and developed a deep connection to the wilderness. From skiing to mountain biking, and, of course, rafting. I became a guide, because of my love and respect for the river. You may hear of the river’s beauty, but it also is an environment that can facilitate a deeper connection to the world around us, and the adrenaline rush is also a hit!

The Middle Fork is especially unique, as one of the few remaining undammed rivers in the U.S., it encompasses over 100 rapids and flows through soaring canyons deeper than the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River. It’s wild, but I love the adventure.

I have been guiding off and on for the past five seasons, and 2025 will be my second full season. I love what I do, and I can’t wait to share it all with you when I see you on the river this summer!
