My name is Meg Matheson and I began guiding on the Main Salmon River in 2017, where I developed my technical whitewater skill and a deep respect and passion for the river. After guiding on the Main, I moved to Jackson, WY where I spent my summers guiding on the Snake River. This will be my third season with Adventure Sun Valley, and I am excited to have become part of an exceptional guide team that cares passionately about making your trip a fun and exciting adventure. In my free time I enjoy split boarding, skateboarding and mountaineering trips. Recently I had the opportunity to participate in an all-women’s ski film entitled “No Bounds To Ride”, the trailer can be seen on YouTube.
There are few things I genuinely love more than sharing the river with people, the only thing I dislike is saying goodbye to the guests at the end of the week!
