Brad Frei

I am Brad Frei, the owner and host at Adventure Sun Valley. I was raised on a family farm I the shadows of the Frank Church Wilderness and became an avid outdoorsman at an early age. I began my whitewater guiding career almost 30 years ago on the Salmon River and in 1999 I purchased Sun Valley Rivers Company, a respected river company, and changed the name to Adventure Sun Valley. From the very beginning my goal was to provide a pampered camping experience to guests wanting a true adventure, but without the heavy lifting and that is what we promise at Adventure Sun Valley.

During the offseason, I instruct in the Gulfstream IV and the Global 7500 aircraft, as well as fly private corporate clients. Prior to this I was an Air Force fighter pilot flying for a NATO command squadron. I believe this along with my subsequent experience flying corporate jets honed my standards for providing superior customer experience. I learned that even if we, as a crew, successfully navigate through a dark, blustery storm and execute a very difficult approach and landing, only to find that the limousine is late, the whole trip can be a bust for the client. We strive to apply an uncompromising dedication to safety, coupled with attention to the smallest details, to ensure each guest has an experience that exceeds their wildest expectations.
